Crime Details:State College police investigate strong-arm robbery State College police are investigating a report of a strong-arm robbery that occurred at about 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of East Calder Way. The victim, a 19-year-old man, told police he was walking west on Calder Alley when he was approached by a man who was wearing a black T-shirt. As the man approached, he pulled the collar of the shirtup over his nose, concealing the lower half of his face, according to the report. At the same time, a second man jumped the victim from behind and knocked him to the ground. Once on the ground, the two men kicked the victim repeatedly and stole his i-Pod Touch, according to the report. The victim watched the two men flee on foot, accompanied by two additional men, police said. The first suspect is described as black, about 6 feet, 1 inch tall, wearing a jacket and black T-shirt with red lettering. The second suspect is described as white, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt. The two men who fled the area with the suspects are described as a black male wearing jeans and a hooded jacket with fur, and a black man wearing either a hooded jacket or a sweatshirt. The four were last seen running in the area of Wilson Alley and Locust Lane, south toward Beaver Avenue, police reported. Anyone who may have witnessed the robbery or have information related to is is asked to call State College police at 234-7150 or Crimestoppers at 1-877-992-7463. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if information provided leads to an arrest.
