Crime Details:Report Type: Forcible Sex Offense-unknown Incident Number: PSU201502936 Reported Offense: An Indecent Assault was reported to University Police on September 4, 2015 at 2:14 a.m. The reported assault occurred on September 4, 2015 between 1:30 a.m. and 2:00 a.m., on a section of sidewalk located on the east side of Sackett Building. The victim, a student, reported an unknown intoxicated male that was with two other unknown intoxicated males approached her as she was walking on the sidewalk. One of the unknown males reached underneath her shirt and inappropriately touched her. The group of males then fled the area running westbound. Officers searched the area and were unable to locate them. Location Description: The incident reportedly occurred on a section of sidewalk located on the east side of Sackett Building, located at the intersection of W. College Ave and S. Allen Street. Appearance of suspect is reported to be: Race: White Sex: Male Height: Unknown Weight: Unknown Hair Color: Dark Hair, possibly brown Eye Color: Unknown Age: 17-19; Suspect appears to be in his teens Additional Description: The two other unknown males were both described as 17-19 years of age. One was described as Asian and possibly wearing a white t-shirt. The other was described as White with dark hair. Safety Tips: Do not accept rides or walking accompaniment from people you don't know well or trust. Trust your instincts. If you feel unsafe, get to a safe place and call for help. Report all suspicious persons, vehicles, and activities to your University Police department immediately. Tell someone you trust your destination and planned time of return. Perpetrators are responsible for sexual assaults. Perpetrators take advantage of vulnerability and seek opportunities to commit sexual assaults. It can be assumed that conditions continue to exist that may pose a threat to members and guests of the University community. It is the duty of the administration to warn of possible "dangerous conditions" on or near the campus, and at affiliate organizations off campus; an "affirmative duty" exists to warn persons associated with the University of possible peril at the hands of some third party or parties.
