Crime Details:On 4/12/15 the State College Police received a report of incident involving a college aged white male who assaulted a female, threatened her, and tried to remove her from her apartment building. The incident occurred at the Beaver Hill Apartments 340 E. Beaver Avenue. The female reported that on Saturday morning 4/11/15 at approximately 1:00 am a male approached her outside of her apartment and asked for assistance. The female began to talk with the male and after a short time later the male assaulted her, threatened her, and tried to remove her from the apartment building. As the male was taking her from the building the female was able to break free when she saw some people she knew. The incident was captured on video and images of the suspect were obtained. The male was also observed on the video tampering with a fire apparatus after the incident occurred. The State College Police are requesting that anyone who can identify the male or anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call the police at 814-234-1750.
