Crime Details:BURGLARY TIMELY WARNING Possible Threat to the Community “Your Right to Know” April 2, 2014 REPORTED OFFENSE: Several burglaries were reported to have occurred in the university’s Wolf Hall Residence Hall between September, 2013 and April, 2014. Wolf Hall is located in the area of southeast area of campus, adjacent to Pollock and Bigler Roads. SUSPECTS: The suspect/s are unknown at this time. The victims, all students, reported that personal belongings were removed from their unsecured residence hall rooms. It can be assumed that conditions continue to exist that may pose a threat to members and guests of the University community. It is the duty of the institution to warn of possible “dangerous conditions” on or near the campus and at affiliate organizations off campus; an “affirmative duty” exists to warn persons associated with this University of possible peril at the hands of some third party or parties. Keep doors and windows locked. Report inoperable locks and latches to the appropriate maintenance personnel. Don’t compromise your safety for a roommate or friend who wants the door left unlocked. Report all suspicious persons, vehicles and activities to University Police immediately at 3-1111, 911 or directly by using an emergency phone. Emergency phones are marked on the Campus Night map available in print at University Police and the Hetzel Union Building Information Desk as well as electronically at www.police.psu.edu.
