Crime Details:State College Police are investigating the theft of a purse from an elderly female and subsequent access device fraud and forgery at the Wal-Mart located at 373 Benner Pike in College Township, State College, PA. On July 24, 2011 between 4:00 and 4:15 p.m., the victim and her husband were shopping in Wal-Mart. The victim left her purse in her shopping cart and briefly walked away from her cart, when her purse was stolen. After clearing the victim's purse of cash and credit cards, the suspect(s) discarded her purse in the chip aisle behind the food area. Her purse was recovered later by a store employee. The victim's credit card was used twice in the State College area within an hour of the theft. The credit card was first used at Jamaica Junction on South Pugh Street and again used at the Uni-Mart at 1200 South Atherton Street. The suspect vehicle is believed to be a blue or gray Buick Skylark or Olds Cutlass that drove into the lot with three male occupants.
