Crime Details:State College Police obtained video of the assault that occurred on May 7, 2011 at 2:11 a.m. at the corner of Hiester Street and East Calder Way in the Garner Street pay lot. The victim, a 28-year-old man from New York, was assaulted by two males and subsequently was lifeflighted to the Geisinger Medical Center. The victim is recovering in the hospital in stable condition. The original description of the two male suspects was incorrect. Based upon the video, descriptions and still images of two suspects were obtained. The first suspect is described as a lighter-skinned Hispanic male who appears to be approximately 6 tall with a thin build, wearing dark-colored pants with a long sleeve black shirt and has very short dark hair. The second suspect is a black male with a stocky build, approximately 510 to 6 tall, wearing a dark-colored, button-up shirt with a white tank top underneath, jeans and dress shoes. Both suspects are described as being in their 20s. Images of the suspects are posted at http://statecollegepa.us/index.aspx?NID=1620 State College Police are requesting anyone who may have witnessed the assault or who can identify the suspects to call the Police Department at 814-234-7150, submit an anonymous tip through the web, or call CRIMESTOPPERS at 877-992-7463. Callers can remain anonymous and a reward is being offered for information.
