Crime Details:On Sunday Morning, July 18, 2010 at approximately 3:28 a.m. an unmarked police patrol vehicle parked to the rear of the State College Borough Municipal building was intentionally set on fire. The vehicle was destroyed by the fire. This is the second incident in the past two months where a police vehicle was damaged by fire. The first incident occurred on Monday morning, June 21, 2010, between the hours of 1:15 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. a State College Police officer observed an unknown package on fire on the trunk area of an unmarked police patrol cruiser parked to the rear of the State College Borough Municipal building. The investigation is ongoing and anyone who may have witnessed the arsons of anyone with any further information is asked to contact Detective J.W. Aston or Det. C.L.
