Crime Details:State College Police continue to investigate an assault that occurred on December 10, 2008 at the Pugh Street parking garage. On December 10, 2008 between 12:00 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. the victim, a 21-year-old Penn State student left the Shandygaff bar and entered the Pugh Street parking garage. While inside the parking garage, possibly on the 4th or 5th floor, the victim was hit from behind by an unknown actor(s). The victim recalls waking up injured on the street in the gated alley area on the southwest corner of the parking garage. Based upon the victimís injuries and where he was found, it appeared that he had fallen or had been thrown off the 4th or 5th floor of the parking garage. The victim sustained serious injuries to his face and leg and is currently recovering from his injuries. State College Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information related to the incident to call 814-234-7150 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-992-7463. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information leads to an arrest. Anonymous tips made be submitted through the web.
